Welcome to my site. My two big areas are law and philosophy. My legal interests are constitutional, criminal, and private law. My previous work focused on contracts, but I'm presently working on (anti)discrimination. My philosophical interests include normative ethics and social philosophy. My book on promises, obligations, and agreements will be published by Oxford next year.
This year (2011/12) I'm on sabbatical from Rice as a research fellow at the Center for Ethics & Public Policy, Tulane University, New Orleans.
